Method 1: Chrome Web Store

Truy cập Zero Bookmark Manager trên Web Store ↗
Bấm nút Thêm vào Chrome (Add to Chrome).

Method 2: Developer Mode (Unpacked)

Q1: Is my bookmark data transmitted to any third-party servers?

Absolutely NOT. Zero Bookmark Manager strictly adheres to a Local-First privacy architecture. All bookmarks, tags, and notes are stored directly within your local browser storage (chrome.storage.local). When using Google Drive sync, data flows directly between your machine and your personal Google account. When using AI, requests are dispatched directly to your configured provider using your personal API key.

Q2: Will I lose my browser bookmarks if I uninstall the extension?

Your core browser bookmarks remain completely intact in Chrome's native bookmark tree. However, rich extension metadata (custom tags, Markdown notes, snooze alarms) live within the extension. We recommend exporting a .json backup or clicking Google Drive Backup before uninstalling or switching devices.

Q3: How does the Wayback Machine link recovery feature work?

When the dead link checker identifies an inaccessible or expired URL (404, 500, dead domain), an Archive icon appears. Clicking it queries Internet Archive's Wayback Machine (archive.org) for the latest available snapshot, allowing you to access original content even after the source site has gone offline.

Q4: How do I toggle the Side Panel quickly without clicking the mouse?

In extension settings, set Default Click Action to 'Side Panel'. After that, clicking the extension icon or pressing Ctrl + Shift + Y will immediately slide open the Chrome Side Panel.
